Steward caught/won one of five or six contestasble kicks - he really isn't an international 15.
Centre combination didn't work at all.

Pepper's stats must have been exceptional - he should have been MotM.

Austin reverted to being an utter pillock in commentary.

Felt like minimal atmosphere in the ground - far too many corporates just there for the freebie?

It did sound very quiet

I am surprised that Murrayfield is full, given the quality of the opposition. Scotland pretty much scoring at will.

Very little back play of note, earlier. As for Australia, but the interception, they would have been shut out. Then to have their forwards rolled back 30 metres.
So poor.

Just given up on the scotland game, too one sided by far.
Happy for one sided if invested in the match (eg Bath thumping Bristol, or tigers, or Gloucester!!!!!)

I went to England Wales in the 6N last time. Apart from it being an absolutely dire match, the endless piping of loud music into the stadium at every break in play was nauseating. It's like they're trying to create an atmosphere and, in the attempt, totally destroying any genuine "buzz". It really does lead to an ambiance of stultifying indifference for me.

Lefty tighty. Get it righty.
I watched the highlights of the England match. I thought that there was some excellent defence from both sides. Or was that just because neither side was particularly incisive in attack.

All in all I was happy from an England point of view. I wasn't overwhelmed with frustration and boredom as I have tended to be watching England over the years. Quite promising really I thought, even if Aus were a bit pants in the second half.

Scotland on the opposite end of a clean sheet, so far. Lots of Endeavour but not enough penetration. NZ defence winning turnovers and they are more incisive in attack.

Turned into quite a contest.
NZ weathered the Scottish storm to clinch it late on.

Really good game in the end, and one that Scotland will rue. They really should have won, especially as they were against 14 for 30 minutes. They never quite look sharp though, and Finn was on one leg for a lot of it. Twice held up, one dropped in the act of scoring. They had the ABs very rattled in the second half.

Fiji making it hard for England to find any continuity. They were dragged into playing the type of open game that Fiji revels in.
The coaches uncle is having a terrific game! ^_^

Painful stuff at the moment.
I know it isn’t the best 15 but we are letting them run at us too much.
