Does anyone understand the group stages in the RL World Cup?
3 groups, but group B and C is merged.
Anyway England have 2 hopes of qualifying, even if they win 2 out of 3 games.
We will get knocked out due to a massive points difference against a team we can’t ever play. Bonkers.

The format is a joke, especially for what is a relatively niche sport trying to raise its profile.

I think England will do what they need to, but relying on a result between Tonga and Samoa complicates things.

The NRL & Aussie Rules are vying to be the National Sport in Australia, RL in the UK & France would have been dominant if it hadn't been due to the dirty tricks of the English & Welsh RFU, and a collaboration between the Vichy Government & French RFU

The comments on the BBC report are well worth a read. Pillock is being heaped with criticism and calls for him to grow up. Leicester fans are thanking him for energising their team for the second half.
It seems that, on his performances so far this season, Northampton paid way over the odds for their Prima Donna.
Compare him with Gloucester’s back row best buy: Jac Morgan.

I think that after the same fixture last season, either the Saints management or their senior players had a stern word with Pillock because he cut out almost all the showboating, gloats, winding up and generally being a massive d!ck and concentrated on being a rugby player. He was even pretty good at that.

That said, give me any number of Jac Morgan types over Pillock any day.

Pillock grew up under the RFU's corse values - Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship.
There's some that he clearly doesn't understand!

Sarries having a bit of a mare against the Quins.
Maitland having the ball knocked out of his hands when he should have been touching down. Half a dozen dropped passes in the space of 5 minutes, despite the dry conditions. One of which ended up gifting Quins their fifth try.

I thought Chessum and Heyes were brilliant. Chessum is heading toward the captain role once Maro steps back. Let’s hope the way he dealt with Pollock changes his behaviour.
