Uzi is still an effective weapon, particularly the Mini, but guess they'd be one of the compact versions of the MP5 or some such these days.

I'm sure that BG was a hard as nails veteran of many Secret Service operations and was highly skilled in secretive martial arts that could have rendered you immobile with a flick of his little finger, but he looks like he should be selling refurbished photocopiers along the M4 corridor...obviously without the Uzi...

I'm off out for tea tomorrow, so given that the Beeb are predicting the end of days following his inauguration, I might stretch it out to three courses and coffee in the hope I won't have to settle the bill...

Somewhat disappointed - had the full three courses, plus a chefs taster a couple of beers, and a coffee that I dragged out for as long as was reasonable but the Donald didn't instigate the end of the world so I had to pay the bill!

hope that he is referring to release the technology that is known but suppressed .... that includes dumping fossil fuel and releasing medicines that cures things like cancer and the common cold

A cracking event, the military immaculately turned out, The Beast(s), His Lord Donaldness's surprisingly lucid speed, seeing the ex Presidents. An enjoyable bit of pagaentry. Shame about some of the protesters using their grievance as an excuse for criminality, but you get their sort everywhere I guess.

Glad you enjoyed it. I am not one for the pageantry and formality at all, which may surprise people having been up all night in November (and not to cheerlead Hillary into history). I don't pay huge attention to most of the actual inaugurations in my lifetime, but this one was edgier on your seats stuff wondering what would happen and a ear catching speech.
