Well worth it if you intend to ride on icy days, especially if using ungritted roads/paths.

Someone (possibly you) mentioned this in another thread a short while ago - I got a pair of Reflex spikes from Rose and a free neck warmer was included in the box - was much appreciated this morning!

Mine went on last night, wasn't gonna bother but we had a shower late-on and I was mindful it would prolly freeze.

I had a hangover which wasn't helping much either, but with the Marathon Winters added about 10mins onto the usual 40mins journey. And this is versus the rather chunky touring tyres I had on anyhow. Oh well, will swap the wheels back out till we have more settled cold.

I thought you were going to say it's time for the balaclava. Mine
made an appearance this morning.

I don't use a balaclava but I do use a wooly hat and I was using that this morning.
