Your average "summer" day on the Costa Clyde .... Grey, grey, grey.. wet... cold! Not surprising then, that cycling isn't exactly mainstream up here, and never will be no matter how hard the politicians try (which they don't).

I’m in Windshire in the SW its been 23C most of this week with 15-20mph winds from the north then today back to the normal SW wind which is less chilly than from the north this time of the year, we’ve had light showers overnight and heavy rain, right now is blue skies with those Simpsons style clouds and warm.

I’m off to sit in the pub garden and forget about everything for a couple of hours.

Today is the first day of May. I'm actually wearing pants/trousers on the first day of May!! I haven't worn pants (only worn shorts) on the first day of May since about 1994. It's so cold out there.:cold: I'm not happy at all!!🧐

Rainbows aren't just for world champions
I went from defrosting the car this morning to being warm enough to take my hoodie off to putting it back on cold shortly after.

If the weather could make a decision and stick with it

Quite dreadful
We've been on a remote hillside in Herefordshire for the last week. A fair amount of blue sky and sunshine but really cold air temperatures and frosts at night.

Snap - the last five & a half miles of my ride this afternoon were done under a heavy, painful hail & rain shower with a sudden drop in the temperature. There was a nice warm day at the end of March when I was in south Norfolk in shorts, but since then we seems to have been under a constant north to easterly breeze off the North Sea :cold:
