All the way to Northern Italy ny car last year, and not once from departing Ashford were me and me Dad asked to show anything more substantive than tickets to get the car on the train.

That I paid all that money for a passport no one wanted to look at makes me bloody angry.
We can export people free of charge. But you need that passport to get back in. That's a border control.

This thread turning into an EU debate.
Apols. That's my last one ^^^^^

It wasn't the "debate over borders" I'm annoyed with it was the bare faced lie.

no, I commented to my Dad, who works in Paris and lives there during the week - in his experience it's not unusual at all not to have to show, and he makes the crossing each way 2 or 3 times a week. In the example I cited above I even had mine clutched in my hand ready to triumphantly show the the chap, but was disappointed not to have to display this magnificent document.

I stand corrected @Drago. But I am surprised. It may be that budgetary cutbacks (Theresa may be able to comment) are having an effect but I don't think it's proper government policy is it? Maybe there is face recognition being used? Anyway - enough of borders.

Why to garages have to tighten wheel nuts up so bl@£&y tight?

So they don't come undone, I know. But these are REALY tight. I weigh quite a lot and I have just bent the solid 1/2" breaker bar in my socket set trying to undo the first nut. I was using the socket set as I know the wrench supplied is usually made with Playdoh. If I ever have to put the spare on, I'm doomed.

I still can't find what is causing the stupid tyre to soften over time.

To end on a positive, the jacking points on Mercedes are really nice.

(Edited to remove NPower logo in case I get sued for copyright!)

NPower, and not for the first time :cursing:.
WTF makes them think I want to BANK with them??
No, you f@@@@rking nobbers; I want you to supply me with gas and electricity!
Several times in the past I have had to contact you regarding this. So - why do you think it is a good idea to INCREASE my direct debit by £15 per month, when all it takes is a look at my account to realise I am currently about £140 IN CREDIT?? This; when you have grossly overestimated my usage (ignoring the readings you pester me for every fecking month) and the price of energy is supposed to be coming DOWN :cursing: :cursing: :cursing:.

You lot are the most incompetent, greedy, self serving, pi55 taking ba$$tards I have ever had the misfortune to have to deal with!
Just as soon as I cool down, I am off to U-Switch to confirm what I was going to do yesterday and save myself about £200 per year. I didn't do it yesterday, only because your useless POS website was down and I couldn't therefore do a like for like usage comparison. Well I just have; and it's goodbye and good riddance from me, you useless nobbers. GIRUY.

and breaaaathe... ahhhhhh....

Edit..... Done it. I'm off to Flow Energy. £214 saving per year on a like for like consumption.
BT - you lot are next!

Waiting to hear about a job. Interview last Thursday. Offered job on Friday subject to client approval which I was told would happen today. Now 1635 and still haven't heard anything

David Cameron and his scare tactics to get us to stay in the EU. Surely there is other news today?

People who blatantly lie on their CV and clearly forget what they have on their CV when it comes to interview..

Citroen - If they think im going to pay £450 for a tiny part they can go and suck an egg, ill get one from the scrap yard for £5.

annnddddd finally, DPD. The way their drivers system works is, they get a notice pop up on their handheld saying i have so many parcels do you have space, they click yes or no depending on how much space they have. five times now one driver has clicked yes, come to collect parcels to go and hasnt had space or just cant be bothered loading them onto his van. Im now going to find another company that can actually do the job and not p155 about.
