I agree, @Matthew_T takes life and it's challenges over seriously at times and processes what he sees, hears and reads quite literally. That is who Matthew is!
I think if you look back over Matthews threads, I don't think you'll find one, where he gets personally abusive or rude to any other poster.
Matthew posted some time ago trying to explain some of the personal challenges he has dealing with life on a day to day basis. Maybe it would help if he re-posted or updated said thread, though some would question why he should have to. Just saying like.

On the contrary, I presumed you were unaware of any connection, and just used your post as a link in to inform posters, who I hope were also unaware. Poncey sauce, 'ark at you with your grated fuggin nutmeg and a Das Boot on the side. My recipe is quick and easy, swill the food down proper with a beer, wine indeed, the kid's from Rhyl ffs. Don't bother with Das Boot, stick to Hong Kong Phooey.

I think there's a fine line between good-natured piss-taking and bullying. Best to stay the right side of it.

I hope other people can relate to this and give me any advice if possible. .

I would say one of the things you need to think about and tell them is what you want out of this, you have told them what happened and that you are not happy, is that enough? Or do you want something more?

If you do want a certain result i.e. An Apology or Free Pizza or Discount Voucher or your money back then it is a good idea to tell them then at least all parties are aware of what is expected. It does not mean you will get it, but at least the company is aware of what you were hoping for.

The other thing you might like to think about is if you put this much effort into complaining when something goes wrong then I would hope that you also put this much effort in when something goes right or exceeded your expectations.

Hong Kong Phooey is a derivative, formulaic Hanna-Barbera cartoon now largely forgotten and rightly so. It brought nothing to world culture or to the understanding of society, philosophy or the human mind. It was anthropomorphised nonsense based on weak and lazy stereotypes of various ethnic groups and canine species. Watch it only when asleep or elsewhere.

Das Boot, on the other hand, is a film of quality and depth (both in the figurative and literal sense - a rarity in today's cinema). You can tell that it merits respect and consideration, because its title is written in italics, while the cartoon offered as an alternative is written in plain type. Although the protagonists speak German, they are very good at the acting lark and lots of their words are quite like ours. The engineer listens to the tappets with a screwdriver (or similar) to his ear, which is just a sort of allegory for rapture.

Enjoy your pasta with wine (my suggestion) with the sauce I propose and with a quality piece of cinema (my suggestion).

All other advice will leave you disappointed and probably miserable. Do not heed the dangerous, garlic-laden advice of others.
