Apparently there is another one of these mass events clogging up the roads of Surrey in March next year

7,000 and yes you read that right 7,000 participants will be obstructing the streets of Guilford for the Surrey Half-Marathon on 9th March


Surely on behalf of the beleaguered residents of Surrey we should be campaigning against this mass participation event?

They have a big ride around here and they go across the hamble-warsash ferry (which is tiny tiny tiny) it does mean mayhem on the Quay but is quite funny too as they get shouted at lots by the ferrymen as "locals" know you have to put your bike on backwards
