Why the **** are we arguing about an old outdated method of recording TV progs?
Good point.

Let me repurpose it.

MP3. If you love music so much why listen to it in such a dreadful poor quality audio and data compressed format?

What's that all about?

Because in real life situations for most people, the quality is rarely distinguishable from the best quality. For me as an example, in the car, through headphones while walking, through a bluetooth headset on the bike, quietly when I can't get to sleep, live in a concert venue. I practically never listen to music in an environment where I would notice compression artefacts.

Yup, only thing better than an unwanted guest is an unwanted guest leaving your house with a trail of poo behind them, and all their stuff still in the guest room.

I didn't really think this one through, did I?

Bimbling along ...
I read about a denial of service attack recently where the crim had harnessed lots of the world's internet connected toasters to execute it. Why would anyone need an internet connected toaster ?
Not sure why, but I read that as harassed - imagining a wordlwide gaggle of toasters kicking out burnt toast at random. It was a bit of a come-down when I realised my mistake. :giggle:

"Equipped with two vibrating sensors on the belt and connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth, this product offers new features that integrate into your daily environment.

The geolocation feature allows you to navigate through your urban journeys using guiding vibrations either on the right or left side of your Essential jeans.

This technology provides an easier, and above all more intuitive option to help you find your car or your meeting place, for example.

"More fun features called “Ping” will satisfy those who want to interact with their surroundings through vibration that can be customized in terms of duration, frequency and intensity. This is useful for when you want to discreetly attract someone’s attention, or for open offices, or for students."

I want to know what some people are up to in their open offices. It reads more like the side of a box bought in Ann Summers.

I always thought the progression from Fitbit to Fitknicks was only a matter of time.
