They are now manufactured by Derwent(Acco) at Lilleyhall in West Cumberland,moving there in around 2007 if memory serves.The museum continues,and despite the odd snotty review in the broadsheets weekend "what to do as an offcomer" supplements,remains popular.That's great news! Could you post a link to them? Are they still called Cumberland or have they morphed into another brand? Thanks.

My wife and I did that once. We went to get some medium Sherry for her parents from the local pub,regretably the pub only had sweet or dry. How did we know that by mixing sweet and dry you wouldn't get medium sherry. You should have seen her parents faces when they tried it.My dad used to send me to the offy with an emptregrettably the pub only le and i would get it filled with sherry from out of a big red plastic barrel.![]()
