Rent TVs from Radio Rentals or Granada.
We had a "state of the art" TV with light touch controls which you didn't need to press, probably worked from the capacitance of your finger, or summat.
All it needed was a bluebottle walking over one to change channels, so someone had to be stationed close to the TV to swap back to the cup final, or whatever we'd chosen to watch before the accursed insect had intervened.
