Not aimed at you but some are quick to dismiss new features on cars that are actually very good in initially obscure situations. Simply because they are not obvious until a use for them arises.

Others are more obviously brilliant - auto-lights, auto-wipers, auto-dipping rear view mirrors, etc.

That got me interested (not losing sleep interested) so I googled it. As you said its apparently a feature on many modern(ish) cars. It says my 65 plate has it.
I cant think of any reason for it though.

Cools the car down quick, or if you've been cruising the streets blasting Barry Manilow out the stereo, you can close your windows in one go when you pull up. That said, I've never used the function since !

Barry Manilow?? Thats a bit heavy for me. I'm still on Alma Cogan and Max Bygraves.
