Texan bars. Yummy things they were. I miss them.
Proper sized Wagon Wheels, they are way smaller than they were.
The Corona Man, in his yellow van coming around every friday morning with pop and cordial.
Haven't seen a village bobby in heaven only knows how long. We see one dash through the village in his police car about once a week, probably going to visit an aunt or something though.
They have even re-appeared in Basinstoke after a gap of about 20 years. Have not quite got round to going in yet. I see they still do the "bender" which as a kid none of us would order. There's a Wimpy at Clapham Junction too, at the bottom of Lavender Hill.
I beg to differ lol I was in the wimpy in Peterborough bout 3 month ago and it was toasted buns proper onions and plates and cutleryThey ain't proper Wimpys, where you could get a Wimpy burger served on a toasted bun with real onions, served on proper plates by a waiter or waitress and order a Brown Derby, or a proper Knickerbocker Glory and tea poured out of a tea pot.
Today's Wimpys are McDonald's copies, with yoooves serving limp tasteless, cold stuff to each other.

Not even in Newcastle itself

Our milk arrives on an electric milk float too.Our milkman drives an electric float. I'm sure having your milk in glass bottles improves the taste to boot.
