Things you'd like to say, but can't

As many may know I care for two young children who Inevitably create a tsunami of crap everywhere they go
Their mum is beginning the process of trying to get them back so social services are beginning risk assessments etc..and came the other night for a chat and a talk to the girls.

As they entered , one scanned her eyes round and said 'oooh, its lovely and tidy, do you have a cleaner come in ?'


In my mind I said
'No i frikkin don't, I might have lost my wife and these two may drive me nuts sometimes...but I (capital I) still have standards y'know '
it kinda peed me off that comment of hers...

Out my mouth came...
'No no, I do it all, its no problem when youre used to it.'

Ever tactful eh ?

More of a signal of the sort of houses they often see than a comment on you I suspect

Think you're being a bit sensitive there, I'd take it as a compliment.

I know youre right, given everything thats happened i suspect im a tad sensitive but equally dont give in, dont buckle, so its probably more of a pride thing. And I make no apologies for it
