I even took the mudguards off for a wee 20 mile blast yesterday evening. You can bet I'll be too lazy to put them back on this week, which means it'll inevitably piddle it down all week.

Spring definately creeping into East Yorks - I saw a ladybird, blackthorn and hazel blossom, baby lambs and wild garlic and heard skylarks singing when walking and cycling this weekend

Forecast for the week ahead looks reasonable too.

I have ceremonially Taken Off The Mudguards.

It felt good and rode quite silently for the first time in a while. No doubt they'll be back on next week.

After yesterday's sun and warmth today was freezing! I was out working. My fingers were freezing, even in wool gloves and that north east wind was feckin' biting!

Yes it has to rain for a month starting Thursday. A bank holiday Monday's coming up so it's to be expected.

Great weather in Edinburgh over the weekend, sunshine, double digit temperatures, skylarks, lambs, daffodils and crocuses starting to appear, still plenty of snowdrops, the odd bumblebee.
