Tiagra 4700 TT Bike Shifters

Hi,

I want to put a 4700 setup on my tri bike. I understand that there is a problem using 4700 with bar end shifters due to actuation ratios which I don't understand.

My simple question is can I use 4700 with my shifters as long as I use a derailleur other than 4700?

You can turn off the indexing on Shimano 'Bar-end' shifters

I think it will be easier to get a 10 speed 105 mech and the correct TT shifters as shimano changed the pull ratios on 4700 .

That sounds fine I have DA7800 shifters and mech. I think that combo should work.
