Tights or not?

Same here. I've never bought very expensive shorts or tights so i can't comment on their comfyness, but the Muddy Fox ones are ok on a 30 odd mile ride! Anything over that i can't comment as i don't do over 30 odd miles these days.

Made up with mine Dave, they are great quality . Who cares what we look like. So long as I'm warm in winter I'm happy on my bike.

I think it's great quality stuff. I went out today (5 degrees) after a good frost. They performed very well, but I did find that my legs were a bit cold after 20 miles. I'm trying to pluck up the courage to buy the Zero's but at £90, they're a bit expensive. If the weather gets much colder, I'm going to have to look at a base layer for the old pins.

Same here Dave, just got back from an all day ride and i wouldn't like to go much colder than today. Best bit of winter gear i have though.

I wear padded bib shorts and an old pair of running tights over them. Toasty warm!
