I've capped my budget by a couple of zeros.

Full CF, a very decent groupset, all for under 800 quid. I've never been disappointed by any of my BTWIN bikes, so I reckoned this was worth a punt.
I'm picking it up on Sunday. I now have a different bike for each day of the week.

Why, did your last one dissolve?

Those tyres will have to go - far too pneumatic. Replace them with concrete-filled hosepipes.

What, the "concrete filled hose pipes" that have got me round

And numerous other rides
without feeling any different / performing any differently ( except for lack of punctures) than pneumatic tyres, you mean? I may indeed fit them to this bike, they really are very good.

Just think how much faster you'd go with proper tyres on though...

I don't do fast.

Evidently.

Learn about endurance riding, LSD ( long slow duration) and power/ heart rate zone 2, then come back and comment when you are educated in such things.

Already am fella. Which is why I need to point out that your acronym definition is incorrect. The more logical/conventional definition is actually 'long, steady distance', as 'slow' is a vague term, but at least 'steady' implies a consistent effort. Also, referring to 'zone 2' is largely meaningless without actually defining it with a number range. If you're going to try to be clever, at least try to get the basics right first.

You really don't have a scooby doo, I'll just put you back in the troll box. Clueless is not just the name of a movie.
