Time to get the winter bikes out?

Despite the roads being covered in a slippy mess of leaves, water and diesel I took the best bike out yesterday. The computer showing 9969 total miles might have had something to do with it. It's now in the garage for its winter strip down with a rounder number showing on the computer.

The black plastic 'blocks' that sit against the seatstays / fork can move around and scratch the paint, especially when muck gets under them. If that brothers you it would be worth putting some tape or similar on those areas.

Yeah they come with transparent tape to protect the paint, which I have on.

Took a minor adjustment to get rid of a hum, but they behaved well otherwise today through some heavy bumps.

The front can catch my toe turning if I'm not careful, even though I've taken the back tail bit off.
