Time to get those slime tubes fitted

Yup! Yes to Slime, absolutely marvellous stuff - have it on all our bikes. Was sold on it years ago when I took out a tube and found it was covered in small brown spots? Scraped off with scalpel to find green below!! Yet I’d never knowingly had a puncture👌

They advise having the valve at the 10 o'clock or 2 o'clock position when inflating or topping up tyres. I've not had one stick yet.

Interesting! I’ve always spun the wheel then inflated at 4 or 8 o’clock! Any problems with crud in the valve, just remove, clean (wash and blow out with compressor👌) and refit - job done.
