Timely Puncture

I just got back from a 20 Mile ride. Just as I was approaching my house, I got a rear wheel puncture. How timely was that? Only had 50 Metres to walk.

I've just been down to the warehouse to check the bike, after reading this

I usually get a spate, on my pneumatic tyres bikes, after I’ve been flicking the puncture fairy the Vs on my Tannus tyres bike.

The law of the sod has struck. Chatting after the ride with @rb58 @sagefly @topcat1 @wanda2010 @Mice et al, broken spokes cropped up, I said I had never had one go in all my life. I touched wood twice AND had a bacon sandwich but I've just done my first on the single speed. Good job it's got 32 spokes so got back alright. 15 miles at over 15mph avg.

Incidentally, we had a new boiler fitted last week and the PF decided to visit the old radiator in the hallway - spraying black sludge all over my wife and surrounding walls

Yep, I used to leave my bike in the stores room here. Mid afternoon, no-one in there but the door open, 'BANG', scared half the staff witless.
