A fair few years ago now I went through a phase of having mashed banana and salad cream on toast. It was very nice if I remember rightly.

Recently I've been having peanut butter and banana on toast, though yesterday I had a toasted bacon sandwich which I enjoyed so much I made myself another one. Scrambled egg (butter and eggs, no milk, herbs and sometimes garlic, cooked very slowly and served still moist) also goes very well on toast - the smoothness of the eggs with the crunchiness of the toast offset each other very nicely.

Add a layer on Nutella (right between that peanutbutter and the banana).. Oh it''s heavenly! :hungry:
Whatever you're putting on your toast, please don't try using wholemeal bread. It's like wearing your pants on top of your trousers. It's just Wrong and you could get hurt.
Good point, also make sure you cut the bread as thick the toaster will allow, if that's not doorsteppy enough you must use the grill. Thin toast is the work of the devil.
