Very gusty down on the Kent coast. So far, only a little drizzly rain, but it's pretty unpleasant to be walking about out in the wind. Everybody take care out there!

Wot storm? We have a bit of wind a steady rain, but no storm. If it's 'Darn Souff' the Beeb will doubtless deluge us with horror stories, but when we get the same there's nary a mention.

Exactly. At the mo' the Beeb are toadying up to the Scots so will mention them, but normally they are treated with equal contempt as anywhere else 'Norff ov Watford Gap'.

It really is howling a gale now. Teeny bit worried about the scaffolding up around the house.
It has no fabric covering so sure it will be fine.

Windy but completely dry here, just a little drizzle an hour or so ago. So much for the heavy and persistent rain the Met Office forecast for here between 9am and 3pm. I should have known they'd completely cock up yet another forecast and gone for a ride.

Getting really hard to stand up right now on the beach here...very wet, very windy and getting dark fast...cold and horrid...no flood though
