Ma Po tofu*, rice, broccoli and edmame beans. :hungry:

Beef mince (can use pork too) fried till crispy, with onions, garlic, ginger, black beans, soy, chilli paste and stock. And firm tofu, of course. Rich, filling, savoury and blow-your-head-off spicy. Lovely!
 
Fishcakes.
Yesterday's mashed potatoes ( British Lilly).
1 piece of frozen cod poached in milk with onions salt, pepper parsley.
A handful of cooked peas
A cup of sifted flour
1 egg

Each fish cake was dusted with flour, dipped in egg snd coated in panko breadcrumbs ( Aldi one off item).

They fried up nice and crispy on the outside.

Thought I'd posted this but cant see it.....apologies if its repeated.
I did a meal for myself and my grandson who is like Welsh Dragons 'bin' GS.
I made burgers from mince beef, Aldis frozen mashed potato which was surprisingly good, peas** and gravy.
I really enjoyed it and he was impressed.
**I found myself short of mixed veg.
