That will be quite ironic if it doesn’t work. Pog’s breakout year was when Visma had the train for Roglic to win. Pog just to sit at the back of the train and beat Roglic.
I suggested that was the way to beat Roglic before that Tour although I didn’t know who.

It was 2-1 to Pogacar on stage finishes, but he'd not taken any time and was nearly a minute behind going into that final TT. They basically came in together on almost all stages (not sure where Roglic actually got time on Pog - 15" on stage 17 where Lopez won). Time bonuses were 27" to Roglic and 28" to Pogacar. But yeah, the train didn't really help Visma when there was a stronger rider in the race

Piganzoli came in to replace WvA

I thought Per Strand Hagenes replaced Wout?

Pogacar lost 1'21" to Roglic in crosswinds on Stage 7, but then took 40" back on Stage 8 up the Peyresourde.

I remember that day. "Ha ha this young Poggywotnot whippersnapper has a lot to learn. Hell never win the tour if he gets caught out like that"

Ha yeah I remember being disappointed that this great young hope had been "found out"

IIRC Bora went hard on a climb to drop the sprinters, and then the GC teams sensed an opportunity and pounced

There's good news and bad.
Seixas has recovered from his crash.
The bad news is Remco may be banned if he doesn't ride the Belgian nationals on Sunday, apparently he could be given a 9 day ban. He better get a sick note in pretty quick.
Mysterious mechanical in the first km coming up!

How can they ban him? Surely there’s no UCI regulation that he has to race Nationals? It would also be a big move by the Belgians to ban their best hope of a Tour podium.

Remco's racing licence is Belgian and I bet there's no UCI regulation saying a national federation can't suspend him for skipping a race.

What happens when pog and Toro go up the road together?

I don't understand this?

Belgian cycling federation requires all Belgian riders to compete at the nationals, unless they've got a note from their doctor or mummy saying they have to stay home. This has often been ignored by riders prepping for The Tour, but seems to have blown up this year because Remco doesn't want to go
