I don't think he's bothered about the others tbh, he's not riding for 2nd place. Last year he was slaughtered for waiting and waiting and never actually doing anything (because Pog was too strong and he couldn't find a moment of weakness), this year he's already way behind so he's just throwing the kitchen sink at it. Nothing's worked so far and he's got mugged by the others but what else can he do?

Cav's stages record isn't going to last many years at this rate. How many more is Pog going to get this year? Paris stage could be his with the climb and no Wout.

Vingegaard to DK TV2 - he doesn't have punch because of Giro (so targeting longer climbs), felt his legs were great, pleased with his ride. But they'd overestimated the climb, thought it would be harder than it was (hence not dropping everyone) - the middle downhill section made it easier.

Accept that is just how it is going to be and watch the race for 3rd.
