Only 26, there were some gripes about the size of his contract but he's backing it up on a consistent basis

He also performed well on very varied stages.

It’s definitely being streamed on Max, it’s just not on UK tv via the linear channels. (TNT 1-4)

Live coverage is from about 2pm until 4-15 or so.

Me neither. I subscribed through my Amazon Prime account for £30.99 which was marginally cheaper than going through Sky and much easier to cancel again without jumping through hoops. Just as well as I've just this minute cancelled it again. The Tour de France was almost bearable apart from the constant ads, but the Commonwealth Games coverage, especially for the track and field which are my favourites has been poor. There should be stuff happening at the moment but all I can find is pundits rambling away.

Thank goodness the BBC are still showing the European Champs next month.

The cable holding it looks pretty permanent.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say I think he'd have been fine even if the net wasn't there. I don't think his centre of mass got near the edge. But it kind of spoils the narrative.

Not convinced by that, you can clearly see that his back and shoulder are supported by the net while his right leg is up in the air and momentum carrying toward the drop. I've watchhed the slo-mo slowed down further by Youtube a few times now and I think he was absolutely on the tipping point

Brilliant - I wonder if they beat the eliminations;!!!
It's only just occurred to me such things probably don't exist on the final day.

There certainly weren't any eliminations. But whether they actually might have been isn't quite clear.

The original planned stage did have elimination times, which varied according to the average speed. But once it was shortened, and they decided to neutralise GC times, there may no longer have been an elimination time either.

Given that each circuit took less time than the original planned elimination times, I doubt anybody would have been outside it, even allowing for their stop to watch.
