Great rides by Kessiakoff and Cancellara - not going to be equalled I think. Going to be interesting to see how Fränk gets on, it's a little lumpy.

Pretty good rides by Gesink, Kreuzinger and Valverde, although I don't think there was much to worry Wiggins from his main potential Tour rivals today.

Could be a great stage today though the main GC contenders are likely to keep their powder dry until the Queen stage tomorrow. However, this may be an opportunity for Gesink/Schleck to get some time back on Costa, though it'll probably only amount to a few seconds. There are a couple of ramps approaching 20% towards the summit and may offer a decent platform for attacks.

Shame, because it looked from reports like a good stage with a nice win for Albasini and the leader in trouble.

It was a good stage today and a strong ride by Albasini, dropping Velits on the final climb. Nice to see Rui Costa cling on for another day and sets tomorrow up nicely. He also showed a fair amount of spirit today, almost getting dropped on a couple of occasions only to regain the wheel.
