Cheers RR.

Looks like PX wheels aren't Campag compatible, so looking at Ribbles superleggera...?

UPDATE

So I've placed the order for the mash bars, Dia compe shifters and brake levers, bar tape, ant stem.

Questions:

1. Will I need to re cable my existing bike, or will the existing cables "re-wire" ok?

2. What do I need to put in a new Campag Veloce crankset?

I have no idea which years have "Power Torque" or "Ultra Torque" or what BB Cups and tools are needed. It seems to be a different story depending on which year the Veloce crankset was made.

DOH!

Why did it take to get to this point before realising changing the bars every weekend would be a complete hassle?

Probably new bar tape every weekend!

I can tell everyone has been waiting excitedly for the next installment!

This looks so amazing compared to the online pics, why did I ever doubt red white and black?

That last pic had me in a panic and on the phone tout suite! Apparently it's a designed kink for the front derailleur...

One more delivery this afternoon :hyper::wahhey:

I do like the flying C! My favourite cycling top is a Cinelli. I wear it for running too as it makes me look good - as long as i hold my belly in!

So excited, but not enough to brave the freezing cold to put it all together

Wondering if I've underestimated the task at hand, but...one step at a time.

Still a long way to go (see fork installation thread) but some shape emerging:

Any tips on tyre width for bullet 80s?

25mm seems to be flavour of the year, not sure it holds true for deep section wheels.

Lordy this has taken longer than expected, but finally making progress.

1. Installed tubes, tyres (23mm Rubino pro), extenders, and cassette.
2. Wheels.
3. Hammered on crown race
4. Shortened tube to final length.
5. Bodged in Star nut
6. Refit headset

Didn't mean to get blue tyres but they match the back on the seat.

Still to do...
7. Bar end brakes and shifters
8. Cabling
9. Chain
10. Fit
11. Bar tape
12. Indexing

It's done, she lives!

Took it round 3x 30km loops yesterday, averaging 2kph faster on a lower avg heart rate :becool:

Wasn't confident enough to be on the bars descending at 42mph, but that will come ;)

Wow. Those wheels feel cool.
