Another interesting break.
The Kuga ran superbly didn’t feel the caravan at all (apart from the rapidly dropping fuel gauge), until we turned off into the Highlands when she went into limp mode (still made it up the “hill” though, a quick off and on and she was happy again. Looking into it it appears that the ECU hasn’t had all the updates for towing, so I’ll be dealing with that when I get home.
First night and I hear dripping in the bathroom, open the door to find the flush has filled the toilet bowl and slowly filling the shower tray, easy fix, I pulled the fuse.
Drove into our nearest town (30 miles) only for the Kuga to suddenly start pissing out diesel. She’s now in the garage whilst they try to find the leak, hopefully before we drive back Saturday.
I need holidays to recover from my holidays!!

That's part of the reason we use a towing cover. Not especially keen on having to wash down the van on holiday.
I presume your 'van never got as bad as my Ifor-Williams used to on some roads around here ^_^
Sadly, I sold it in (I think) 2008

@Jameshow

I’m back home now; via Follifoot, Spofforth, Wetherby, A1
I took it there, along the same route
Brought it back yesterday, via the same route, barring avoiding Follifoot, & using Haggs Road(?) half a mile to the east of the village
Quite surprisingly, there was no opposing traffic between the Castle & Wetherby Road, in Spofforth!
Likewise, no queue through the Market Place in Wetherby, it was straight onto the bridge over the Wharfe

Returning to the storage compound took a lot of shuffling due to a ‘van opposite being a bit nose proud
Maybe ‘10 forward/reverse/full-lock’ moves
Thankfully on gravel/road-planings!

SWMBO & her dad, are going (back) here, in a couple of weeks, for (I think) Sat - Wed?
https://maustinpark.com/

I presume they'll be taking it themselves?
This area is inundated with Red Kites, as apparantly they breed (to the south) just over the River Wharfe, in the Harewood estate
They're going again, later this month

Once more, the tow-bar on the Q3 proves useless, as I'm dragging it up with my Kodiaq:rolleyes:
I'm not sure if I'll be free to bring it back though, as I'm working an early-turn on departure day (& would prefer not to have to do a 'late-turn')

We are now Tin tentless! :hello: . Had decided last year that it was time to do something different, lost the love for it . Would have been sold last summer but for the crack in the panoramic window ! That got fixed but too late in the year to sell .

Surely it can’t be still running the original (1098cc) ‘A-Series’?

Plus it has a ‘lift-tag’ axle!!

Ahh!, perhaps the 'big-block' 1800 wouldn't fit ^_^
Although to open the bonnet, & perhaps have seen the (2.0TD) Perkins from a Maestro, or Montego, would have been more appropriate!
