I had one of those watches. I used to sit outside Rumbelows turning the TVs up.

Round a friends one night I kept switching off his Sky box. He was starting to get annoyed with it and was on his knees with a screwdriver dismantling it before my giggling gave the game away.

Renault and Peugeot owners could also program them to unlock their cars, and the dibble at the time were worried villains would use it to steal cars, although I never heard of an actual case of this.

Anyway, going back to topic, where do people stand on the quietly passing wind on a train debate? I find the best way to avoid suspicion is to pretend to be asleep, and then pretend to be awoken by the commotion.

Hypothetically, if you position yourself in the middle of the hypothetical train carriage, switch on the device, you can hypothetically silence every shouty loud mouthed mobile phone bore in there within seconds. It's not fun at all I'm told. ^_^

So I'm on a train and I need to contact my family for something and some prick with a jammer stops me

Yeah, great idea. Jammer out of the window if I catch someone doing it to me

I was once on a train from Spain to France, sitting on my own and let off possibly the worst, stinkiest, most horrible fart ever. As soon as I sniffed it I knew I was in trouble. But, I thought, brazen it out. So I calmly stared out of the window for about a minute before a very loud Aussie voice said "CHRIST, WHAT THE EFFING EFF IS THAT SMELL?"

I just got up and fled the carriage, shielding my face as I did so.

How do you think they manage the no phone compartments on some trains?

Not all down to the glass as one company would have you believe.

How's that turned on and off though.

Have you never seen them hinge the whole roof open to let the rays back in?
