G is showing how to do this at Ineos, may as well not been given a spot at Tour.

No idea how effective he’s been but he has got on camera a fair bit.

Lildl are to change from co-sponsors of a team owned by Trek, to co-owners of the team with Trek.

Whether anyone outside of Lidl-Trek's accountants cares about this, I don't know. But there it is.

Cue Carlton Kirby leafblower joke. Which I thought was quite funny the first time.

In general in cycling finance, this is a very good thing. Sponsors come and go, owners have a longer term outlook

It's a moot point which of Rog, Remco or Lipo, would be the protected rider for Bora at the Tour next year.
Maybe Lipo for the Giro, Remco for the Tour and Rog, if he's still around, for the Vuelta.

It's a team sport. They've been one of the most successful teams in the race.

Seriously? Ineos??

"Arensman heads into Paris as Ineos’ highest-placed rider on GC, in 12th, almost 53 minutes behind Pogačar.

You have to scroll a bit to find the team’s next highest-placed rider, French puncheur Axel Laurance, who sits in 53rd, over three hours down
."

IMO Arensman had a GREAT tour, but I can't remember any contribution from anyone else in the team. (Apart from a few typical pithy interviews by G!)

To be fair Ganna fell off on stage 1 before the first the first TT. C Rod was climbing the GC top 10 before he crashed out (it was still a pretty poor showing by him though and I don’t see him as their long term number 1 GC rider).

I heard Jonathan Vaughters saying on TCP that a stage win was worth a lot more than 8th, say, on GC for the sponsors. That's for EF and Healy bucked the stat by winning a stage and being very visible.
It also depends on whether the team is a vanity or advertising project.
Ineos in it for the PR?
