Lefty tighty. Get it righty.
Alexander Krieger of Tudor Pro retiring and moving into management. Have to admit he's no more than a vaguely recognised name to me, but his reason for retiring is worth reading. https://www.tudorprocycling.com/post/alex-krieger-from-the-bike-to-the-ds-car

the fear of crashing and seriously injuring myself. It's not just the fear of crashing itself; I still feel the necessary willingness to take risks. The fear of injuring myself so badly that permanent damage is expected — this fear is paralysing. ... There's a tree there, and I smashed into it. When I saw that tree completely intact this year, it made me realize how small and vulnerable we are as humans.

That's quite a read! e.g.

The toughest period was 2019/2020. Due to recurring
saddle sores, I was on the verge of ending my career. This made me doubt my future and cost me a lot of energy. With a broken bone, you have a clear timeline, and the recovery period is predictable. With saddle sores, it's all very vague; you have no idea where they're coming
from or how long they'll last. I reached a point where I knew I would end my career immediately if the problems arose again.
