In sartorial news, Ineos transfer from see through shorts to black shorts for Spring.

We saw an Ineos group around Calpe a few times last week (Ganna, Tarling, C Swift, Godon) and they were all in black shorts

Definitely? Is there an article out there stating as much?
I know the dev team are in black shorts, but I thought the main team were being forced to wear those atrocious white ones - maybe they have all complained enough to make the change happen.
Replica white shorts to be on 75% off soon - turbo duty perhaps ;)

I thought they trained in the black shorts, but had to wear white for races - happy to be wrong.

L'Equipe are reporting that Rocket Man Sivakov is going to board the Seixas hype train at Decathlon next season.

Hopefully for Siv (& pretty much all of us), he hasn't bought the wrong Apex ticket with the french prodigy departing from a different platform for UAE although that junction in his career shouldn't come until the end of his contract at the end of '27.

With the market stationed the way it is with UAE able to tender unlimited amounts, this could signal a bidding war for his services in which I'm currently siding with Decathlon; moving to UAE, whilst lucrative, would surely cause his career to temporarily hit the buffers until Pog's career becomes derailed.

It's early in the season, so this is very much a sleeper story. Seixas hasn't expressed any opinions on this as yet.

I think Once Were Ineos may be entering the picture again with Netcompany and TotalEnergies cash. If he leaves Decathlon it could well be to them. Brailsford had a longstanding aim to win the Tour with a Frenchman (I assume because he'd never have to pay for a meal again in France)

Maybe they'll cross the line at d'Huez arm in arm.

Florian Vermeersch either backing on Pog to get bored with cobbles or enjoying the amount of butter being put on his side of his toast by extending with UAE until '29. My money's on the butter.

He was strongly rumoured to be heading elsewhere, so presume they have made him a sizable offer to retain him.
McNulty has also extended through to 2030 - potentially he will end his career there.

Interesting to see what happens with Nharvaez and Sivakov.

Macron isn't keen on Seixas leaving Decathlon

Personally I think Brailsford has been playing the long game. Seixas has a contract until the end on '27.
Brailsford is bringing TotalEnergie on board as main sponsor next season, and a bucket of cash from NetCompany, potentially ready for INEOS pulling out entirely. He's installed a few Frenchmen and is winning races with them - including in on home soil in Paris-Nice.

Meanwhile, agent Rowe has infiltrated Decathlon and is whispering in Seixas's ear...

Mark my words, the most hated team in France when Froome was eating up Tours is about to become the most loved when they win the Tour with Seixas
