Evening all as Sgt Dixon would say. That's someone only us old ones might remember.
After having it in the garage for ages I've started to build up my Trek frame set and seem to have already met a problem.
Ordered a seat post 27.2mm which as I understand it is the correct size and full of glee tightened the clamp up but it wont tighten enough to grip the post. So can someone tell me whether I need a special seat post. I have seen some strange ones advertised that look as though you have to buy a particular height so I wonder if I have to buy one of them.
The other issue I have is changing the crank set over as the SRAM has two different size bearings one which the Ultegra will fit through but the other being too small. Is it a case of just replacing the small bearing with a larger one.
