Strip the parts and if you have the time and space then you have a go yourself

Another vote for 'power coat it'. Flog it or use it.
Spare bike is good but don't get carried away like some on here.

Must be the rim brake version if you can only use 25mm tyres ?

Can it take full mudguards? If so I'd look to use it as a winter/wet ride bike. Full guards make a huge difference to enjoying riding in all weathers.

How come the frame got so scratched?

I tried to remove all the overbearing b-twin branding and made a bit of a mess of it. It's the rim brake version, and yeah I'll definitely get mudguards on it, and more suitable wet weather tyres
