Things that make me annoyed - almost all Groups and the People in those Groups on FarceBook. They are so self opinionated. They are also in the majority, very, very, very stupid indeed!
I mean, c'mon, who uses the abbreviation ETA as anything other than Estimated Time of Arrival; or Electronic Travel Authorisation? Yes, the second one is pretty obscure, I'll admit.
It does NOT mean PS or Addendum! Why oh why have I seen it so many times at the bottom of a post where PS would be used normally? I can only think they mean "Extra Thing Added"? :banghead:
Might they mean "edited to add"? If that annoys you then you should watch "I'm a celeb get me out of here". Some famous youtuber was questioning why someone else was blowing on a fire to get it started. He thought it was wrong because a) you blow on a candle to put it out and b) you blow out CO2, but fire needs oxgyen!

Maybe I spent too much time in Scouts
and the fact that we had coal fires at home may be a factor

BUT
how can anyone grow up enough to be classed as an adult and be so thick??

UNLESS - he was genuinely asking the question(s), as in trying to learn why it works
but as an influencer that is famous enough to be classed as a "celebrity" (definition may vary!)
I doubt it

As ebikeer says, some folks use if for "Edited To Add". And it annoys me, as there are at least 3 existing uses for ETA, and the Time one has been used in official channels for millenia ...
Aaaaaaaaaaaaargh!!!

I thought it must have been a joke, or at least the producers telling him to act thick to draw in an audience. But who knows.

Maybe that's why he is an "influencer": anything else was a bit too complicated...

Just thinking about this a short while ago when 'Leicester Road', somewhere in England was mentioned on the radio. In my window cleaning round days, I cleaned the windows of a few houses on Leicester Road in Blackburn, Lancs. I used to chuckle to myself when approaching it as it's a crescent, starting on a road and ending on the same road about 50 yards down that road. I never found myself heading towards ( just looked it up) 129 miles away Leicester, when leaving Leicester Road, Blackburn!😉

There's no Blackburn road in Leicester, there is however one in Barwell, a small village about 7 miles away

If I remember rightly, there's a London Road in Blackburn. Again, going nowhere, being just a part of a council estate.😏

Can you find an Accrington Road though!🤔 This is the find we wait for with baited breath, if one exists at all that is!!🧐 😉

Nah there's no Accrington rd either, there is a London Rd though it was the old main road to London before they built the M1 Motorway (A6 which went from Luton to Carlisle passing through Derby and Manchester amongst others.
