If I might add some balance - our Canon MG7150 printer has worked flawlessly over wifi - printing from my work laptop (W10) and from various Apple devices by Airprint, all over the WLAN rather than through direct connection. Scanning too.

I used to have a wireless printer and it worked fine - however someone down the road has one that fires up occaisionally and tends to pick wireless channels that it should not be using - and has quite a long range
which is annoying

I’ve just sprayed some Sure deodorant in my face. It had a weird locking mechanism on the head that only seemed to unlock when it was pointing at my face. If the can contained Novichok then I could see the need for a locking mechanism. But, despite frequent rides to Salisbury I’m reasonably sure the can just contains deodorant. There is no need for a locking mechanism.

My eyeballs smell great though.

Just heard on the radio a reporter say "the government has urged passengers not to travel". Surely you only become a passenger if/when you do travel?🤔 If you follow this government advice and do not travel then you aren't a passenger?🤔

Almost as pointless as saying "we urge government officials not to have parties."

Not really... I was going to travel today but listened to the warnings and postponed my journey.

(I called in at the station this afternoon to pick up a copy of the Metro and the electronic sign there was showing lots of train cancellations and delays, so I would say that it was a very useful warning!)

I did say "almost..." but... yes, I see the point.

Pop-ups offering me apps/extensions that will transform my humdrum existence, with buttons for Yes, and Not Now. But not for No, and don't ask me again because I won't change my mind and it will only irritate me to an extent that is itself unsettling.
