But when it comes to annoying stuff:

Reaching in the fridge or cupboard for that bottle of beer or wine...only to find you have already been to the well and there is nowt left.

We need a ride out! Royalty in 15mins!!

That's what the 'blackboard' is for! (When I moved in here I found a big rectangle painted on the kitchen wall in blackboard paint in the corner where have my fridge. For about 10 minutes I thought it was a strange idea, but I have in fact used it nearly every day for over 7 years. As soon as I get close to finishing something, I write it on the chalkboard to remind me to restock it on my next trip to the shops.)

How do you deal with running out of chalk?

We remodelled our kitchen after about thirty years. It took me about three months going where the fridge used to be until I got used to its new location.

Dogs, well mainly irresponsible owners of said creatures. I don't care if they are being 'friendly ' 'excited' or any other reason. Just because you like them doesn't mean everyone does nor do they want them bouncing around you, chasing you or being allowed to randomly wander in to your path.

£4 to park in your local Hospital car-park. ‘Ok’ for me visiting a couple of times over the weekend. But it’s the same for the day-in, day-out Staff too 😳

And it’s reasonably rural: and anywhere local has resident only passes, clamping in place etc to stop you bypassing paying the fee…….
