You're a couple of days early, the sun will set a few seconds later today than it did yesterday.

Yes, I meant today as in Sunday the 22nd of June, as I post.

AIUI there are 2 sine waves - one for the sunrise and the other for sunset. Now 21st June has passed, the 'gap' between these is getting smaller day -by-day, but the time for sunset is (for some while - maybe 1 month?) happening later. The evenings are a bit longer, and the sunrise is happening later by slightly more (than the evening light is extending). I hope I've explained that well

I think the two curves are only out of phase by a matter of a few days.

Edit: It appears to depend on where you are in the world - in these parts the gap is 7-8 days.

But of slack there chaps! There are some reasons why slow moving and teetering happen.
Yes, I did say people who do *not* have mobility issues. I'm thinking more of the chap with the tats and wifebeater standing in the middle of the road, who, when I slow and flash him to complete his journey, then proceeds to saunter slowly across the rest of the road rather than considerately getting a bloody move on.

This annoyed me so much I wrote a scathing letter from Mr. Angry about the miserable contents of my packet of Iced Gems - I received an apology and £10 of vouchers for biscuits!

Here is the miserable specimen in question.

We're further East in Norfolk than the West Country

I have recently been watching a number of cycle touring vlogs, many countries that don't seem obvious have some extraordinary cycling routes and infrastructure and yet in the UK we have to put up with mostly utter sub standard half ar*ed rubbish and be grateful.

Spotted about an hour ago. This could've gone in the trivial things that please you...thread, just as much as this thread, but I can't be bothered to find the things that please you thread, so i'll post it here. It looks like the housing association's grass cutters couldn't be bothered to move that garden chair to cut the grass underneath it, so they cut around it!! Surely it wouldn't been easier to just move the chair, rather than cut around it!!
