Same here. I don't have any problem waiting for people using walking sticks, wheelchairs, crutches, zimmer frames etc.

Gormless able-bodied people reading shopping lists off mobile phone screens while standing in the middle of a busy shopping aisle though... :cursing:

Those who yack loudly on their phone to probably their husband or wife, describing items in supermarkets they've probably been told to buy. Then there's the ones who can't find vouchers on their phone, who swipe through page after page trying to find it, making small talk with the checkout operator while the queue gets bigger and bigger!

If I've been dispatched behind enemy lines, then I'm definitely calling back to headquarters to ensure that I'm picking up the correct thing, it's much safer than getting a court martial for returning with the wrong type of lettuce.

Nothing fills me with more dread than popping out with a shopping list, I end Up getting it wrong or buying stuff where the sell be date is the next day. We are just completely wired differently

Spotted about an hour ago. This could've gone in the trivial things that please you...thread, just as much as this thread, but I can't be bothered to find the things that please you thread, so i'll post it here. It looks like the housing association's grass cutters couldn't be bothered to move that garden chair to cut the grass underneath it, so they cut around it!! Surely it wouldn't been easier to just move the chair, rather than cut around it!!

What is it with the BBC and dinosaurs? I mean seriously. They seem obsessed with them be it the discovery of a new bone etc being reported on the main news or some AI generated series.

Perhaps some kids still like them(do they really?) but I'm afraid I find it all a bit boring.

There is plenty of other stuff on the BBC. I would expect them to report on news items such as the new discovery - which is also reported on the main news of NBC, CNN, Euronews and other news outlets.

The AI generated series is just one series, thugh they are promoting it fairly heavily.

Yes, lots of kids still like them.

My grandsons have both been fascinated by dinosaurs for years.
