There is deep animosity between Mr T and his English equivalent, Ross Kemp.

This came about following the British re-make of the A Team, where T was most disgusted that Kemp played a character called Mildly Annoying Attitude who drove an old Thames van.

I remember that. Especially the bit where Mildly Annoying showed his fear of travelling by bus and his catchphrase "I ain't gettin' on the bus you muppet".

I never understood why it was cancelled.

Indeed. I thought Bruce Forsyth as Hannibal Smith was an inspired piece of casting.

"I love it when a plan comes together, Anthea!" was a marvellous catchphrase.

Bill Roache as Face and and Brian Murphy as Barmpot Murdoch were also good casting choices.

I enjoyed the British remake too, but was never convinced Kemp was right for the role.
Forsyth, just perfect.
