Adjusted my FD once when it was a few months old (it is now 3 years old).

Ditto the RD and then once again when I bent the hanger.

Work perfectly.

But does it^_^ I bet that if the rear hanger has not been reset in a few months it could be improved. About every 1500 miles and the hanger is slightly out on almost every bike I check, have not got a clue why.

Yes it does - I'm pretty fussy about things like this.

I spent about three hours getting the FD (105 5700) trim right when I adjusted it for the one and only time. It doesn't make a noise on Lge/Lge and Sm/Sm either - must be the geometry of the bike I guess. Long-ish chain stays as it is a CX?

The RD (105 5701) is really smooth, changes crisply whether on single or multiple shifts in both directions.

Not sure how it can be improved tbh.
