Hi all
I'm after some advice for a turbo computer . Sadly realise my garmin 200 is not suitable .
I want to try the sufferfest videos and I believe I need cadence sensor .
I've seen a wireless atom 4 but I don't think it does cadence .
Thanks all

You don't need a cadence sensor. Just use the RPE numbers on the screen instead.

RPE is Rate of Perceived Exertion if you were mystified Sniff. Explanation here. It may take a little time for you to 'tune in' to what the numbers mean to your particular effort.

Edit - slight clarification - the linked scale goes from 6-20 which relates to heart rate. The scale used by the Sufferfest goes from 0-10, with their own usually amusing descriptions of pain level.

I wasn't confused by RPE honest
Thanks for the replies . Would you guys say I should get a cheap computer just to see the distance or just use my garmin for time ?

Distance is no more relevant or irrelevant on the Turbo than It is on the road. If it's important to you on the road, then it's important to you on the Turbo.

Thanks guys , if I'm honest I do like to see how far I've gone . Understand it's a matter of opinion if it's important or not.
Will pick up the wireless computer for the rear.
Thanks again

Absolutely baffled that my posts have been deleted. They weren't off topic, and were in the spirit of debate, not argument.

Do you swap your tyres when on a turbo trainer

I use a dedicated turbo tyre. Inexpensive and hard-wearing. I know some people who use an old road tyre, which seems sensible. I used to just use my normal tyres, but the rear wore out very quickly and split on a ride.

I plan to use my old tyres over this Winter, fitted to my old wheels. Easy swap as have the original cassette too. All have little wear as swapped early on.

I would by a Turbo specific tyre, if didn't have spares that I won't use on the road.

I'm using my tyre I've used on the road all year to date . I don't tend to ride much on the road in the winter months so will just get fresh set of rubber for next year.
