Turned-out nice again...

A glorious day when I left home earlier turned into something quite brutal in the end.
Should've know it would go belly-up when I got a puncture as it started to rain.
Then the wind picked-up and, even though I much prefer cycling solo, I could have done with a team around me to set-up an echelon as I came across Cardiff Bay Barrage where the side wind felt like a force 8.
Then the hailstones started with about 5 miles to go.

Naturally, the rain and wind stopped and the sun came out immediately as I arrived home.
Still enjoyed it though and even a bad day day on a bike is better than any day at work.

Good effort - the skies have been similar round these parts, but thankfully merciful for the last hour or so I've spent on the bike.

As you suggest, a worthwhile outing even if not ideal

I should've added that this is worst weather I've had unleashed on my recently purchased Castelli Perfetto RoS 2 Jacket and it performed faultlessly.
They're not cheap, although there are some good deals out there, but this is by miles they best cycling jacket I've ever used.
