Channel 5 highlights was tolerable, wonder how they’ll cope with editing proper stages though.
Possibly AI will be employed to some extent . Would be one way of chopping out TNT chatter re commercial breaks, the Breakaway and hopefully Carlton.

Channel 5's highlights were basic this evening, but better than nothing - the 'presenter' looked to be in front of a green screen which could have whichever channel it's on as the background. No actual analysis will be an issue for those with limited awareness of what's going on.

Yes, bit of a harsh lesson learned there for me, but still, enjoyed Sheep Detectives with DD2.
Decided to go with the TNT highlights on YouTube which were unstructured rubbish and positioed directly next to a video titled 'Interview with stage one winner <name of winner>.'
well it looks like the same "volume" that they use for TNT clearly, and theyre using TNT commentators on the coverage itself, so I suspect though I didnt watch tonights highlights on TNT, we are watching the exact same thing, just presented by Becca instead of Orla...

It was ok, very low budget with no real structure. Becca was ok and brought enthusiasm. Definitely missed Gary and Ned plus all the extras. Can’t imagine a sprint stage….

The first year in a long time that I have no enthusiasm for the TDF, I haven't even entered a fantasy team to keep my interest front and central. I will watch some SBS (Aus Tv) coverage via a VPN, but I do miss the Channel 4 offering, my enthusiasm does not extend to TNT prices.
