I had just finished watching the footie last night,when the wife came in and wanted to watch a detective prog.So she changed channels.for a few mins i watched Love Machine,hosted by that bird Soloman and Moyes.What a load of S****.If this is entertainment then i am the Pope.
What has happened to proper entertainment,a show with singers,comedian,special act,dancers.I am 62 and you young people have no idea how crap modern telly is.But i have to say i think it's time Brucie gave up also.Rant over.
Time for some lunch and a bit of reading.Dombey and Son by a certain Mr Dickens.Excellent.

I record everything to a file server and then watch what I want when I want to on either the iPad or any tv in the house, actual broadcasts suck

My wife watches that shite, it's the worst tv program I have ever seen in my life it's even shitter than Blind Date that it is kind of based on. I was never that keen on Paddy McGuinness to start with but now I find him even duller than Vernon Kay.

TV was crap as long as I can remember. I had to archive programmes from the early eighties in one job. I always remember The Saturday Show with Tommy Boyd as being good. Now I've seen it again it was worse than some of the current stuff. There's always exceptional programmes made but that's the exception and not the rule. Great new comedies will always appear at some point.

Thankfully my wife likes things like NCIS and friends, sadly some of that silly vampire show stuff creeps in, otherwise she's kewl.
personally i just download all my episodes and watch em add free, miles better imo.
i'd make millions if i could distill a tv service where you litterally could taylor the type of programs you pay for rather then having to buy packages.
anybody got the start up fee's just lyin around?

My daughter watches the same, and it is absolute cack. I dislike Take Me Out, but really think Don't Tell The Bride is up there with Come Dine With Me for the sh!ttest programme on tv award.
