Brut, used to get some every christmas in the early to mid seventies. The smell takes me straight back to then.

Also, the smell of the unrefurbished BR class 303 EMU 'Bluetrains'. The sound of them too.... and the view out the front... and the stripy seats.

Monty Python, because it coincided with my teenage years, our first black&white TV and a time when our parents were fighting tooth and nail; not a happy time for an adolescent trying to find himself.

We have a heritage railway about 10 miles from my town, and I took my granddaughter up for a ride on one of these a couple of weeks ago (first time I've ever been on a train there funny enough. I can see the main line to Brum from my house and occasionally see a steam train coming through which is very cool

Holy caped crusader, it has to be Batman from the 60's.

As a kid that series had a bad influence on me. I once tied my mums apron round my neck thinking I was Batman, jumped off the sofa and face planted myself into the carpet.

I was 35 at the time :whistle:
