I have a mountain bike with tyres that are slick middles with tread edges, great for me.
However I'm new to this bike trainer thing, and as it says, it's starting to wear the tyre. to save it, as they are quite expensive, what tyres should I put on the rear wheel, something I can get out on the road with, not bothered about off-road yet. Still too cold icy and muddy! (well it was up Whinlatter pass yesterday!)
I assume as smooth as possible and cheap as possible? what about width. I assume wide will wear slower?
thanks
Jeff
