Many years ago, the Public Health Inspector in Norwich, displayed on the side of all the corporation dustcarts was George Smellie. And the Ipswich Transport Inspector, displayed on the local buses, was Ronald Pickup. ^_^
When my eldest son was born, a lass in the next bed; a Mrs. Cross, decided to name her son Chris. Oh dear - ! :laugh:

The technical director of a Hungarian based software company was called Attila. So there I was quite literally exchanging emails with Attila the Hun. He was a perfectly nice chap to be fair, and very capable

No doubt the Hungarians see the more famous historic Attila as a great general who kicked the Roman occupiers out, whilst in the West he's seen as a barbarian involved in the sack of Rome
